History of Admiral
Admiral Corporation began in business as a consumer electronics company founded by in 1934 by Ross Siragusa.
Rockwell International acquired the company in the early 1970's but Rockwell was bought by Maytag which was
ultimately acquired by Whirlpool in 2006. Whirlpool still holds the brand and manufactures washing machines that
are distributed by retailers across the country.
