"Fisher @ Paykel Intuitive Eco IWL16"
I bought a Fisher & Paykel Intuitive Eco IWL16 in November of 2006. The first machine constantly cried that the water was not hot enough. Eventually it stopped working. Several times service personnel came to repair it to no avail. All parties agreed that a replacement was due. With the second machine, after three and a half years, there has been no problems. I like the many options that this machine offers from a traditional wash to ones that remove certain stains, i.e. tomato, wine, chocolate, blood, etc. There is even an allergy wash. Its regular Eco Active wash combines the technology of a front loader and a top loader and saves water in the process. There is an auto sensing feature which determines the fabric mix of the load and selects the right wash action. There are lifecycles in which you can program your favorite wash. One feature that I do not like is the max spin speed, which can leave clothes very wrinkled. I am often unable to determine whether I have overloaded or underloaded each load since the lidlock locks the machine. Otherwise, this machine has all the bells and whistles that a machine lover could desire.

"Very pleased with our Fisher and Paykel Washing Machine"
We love our washing machine and bought it around 2005. It is extremely quiet and uses very little energy. It has different water-level settings so it is extremely effecient in that if you only want to wash a few items, the machine fills up with the right amount of water thus not wasting water. The spin cycle is awesome as it spins our clothes so dry that it reduces the drying by at least half the time. The lid automatically locks which is a safety feature which keeps our kids from opening it. It has so many different options that you can even wash wool. You can customize and program your own wash cycle. It has a delay start feature any where from 1-9 hours delay. It stays clean and it has an automatic lint filter so no lint cleaning has to be performed. We have never, I repeat never, had to repair the machine. We will continue to recommend the machine to friends/acquaintances as we also own the Fisher and Paykel dryer and 2-drawer dishwasher as well.
