"Frigidaire Stackable Washer and Dryer"
I've owned this Frigidaire stackable washer/dryer system for a little over 18 months. The washer component is satisfactory. There are three load size options and either cold/cold, warm/warm, or hot/cold water temperatures. It's nice to have many options for loads, and there are different cycle settings for colors and whites. The washer itself is quite small, limiting load size. Also, there is a large gap between the wash basin and the machine body, and a few shirts have gotten caught in the gap and completely ruined. I haven't had to perform any repairs to the machine. In my next home, I would prefer two full-size, high efficiency machines over this one. The Frigidaire brand is reliable, but the machine I currently have was designed to save space and is ideal for apartments. Having a stackable washer and dryer is convenient and saves space, but is no replacement for professional grade equipment.

"I miss my top-loader!"
Our washing machine was old so when it broke down we decided to just get a new one instead of fixing it. "Top-load" washers were all the rage because of their energy savings abilities and people seemed to just love them. We bought the washer along with the matching dryer at Sears and around $550 for each piece. From my first load in this machine I have hated it. Even as brand new it has had a musty, molding smell to it that has never gone away and even gotten worse. I have noticed that to get the machine to start I have to slam the door hard or else it will make really loud noise and it won't work. When I take my clothes out to transfer them to the dryer they are always falling on the floor. The positive things that I can say included the fact that my energy bill has gone down a bit since we got this set. Also, they are quiet and we can't really tell that they are on. I wouldn't recommend this to friends. I would suggest looking into a high efficiency top-loader.

"My Frigidaire Washer: My Favorite Household Appliance"
I recently moved and needed a new washer and dryer. I asked my friends and family about brand recommendations and Frigidaire was among their top ideas. However, when I got to the place of purchase, they said that I would be better off buying a Maytag or GE, as those were the best brands. So far though, my Frigidaire has worked amazingly! I really like that it is very easy to control via the cycle selection knobs. There is one for wash temperature, load size, and one for settings based on what you are washing. The load size knob is nice because you don't just have to decide "small", "medium", or "heavy", you can move it on them or in between to properly wash the correct size. The one thing I don't like about it though, is the locking mechanism on the lid. It stays locked a full 2-3 minutes, or more, after it's done spinning. It always seems to last longer at inconvient times, like when I'm in a hurry and need to throw the clothes in the dryer before I walk out the door. The washer itself is also a little loud. If I have it running, I usually have to turn the TV up in the next room about 10 clicks higher! Overall, I am very happy with my purchase and glad I decided to purchase a Frigidaire. I would also definately recommend my washer to everyone I know! It is definately my favorite household appliance!

"Frigidaire 3.0 Cu. Ft. Top Load Washer"
I have owned my washing machine for about 1 year. The price was very reasonable at about $400. I have never had any problems with it and never had to replace any parts. It has done a very good job washing my clothes. It doesn't have as many settings as some other washing machine but I think it has enough different settings to get the job done for all my different fabrics. I like the heavy duty cycle which gets the clothes really clean. This machine has simple settings which makes it very easy to understand and use. The only thing I don't like about this style washing machine is you can't wash large items like pillows, comforters and jackets. I have to take those items to the Laundromat to be cleaned in a front loader. This is a great washing machine and I would recommend it to everyone looking for a top loading machine.

"Comfort and Convenience with My Washing Machine"
I have had my Frigidaire washing machine for 9 years and it has served my family well. It has a large capacity tub, a vigorous washing action with multiple settings that allow me to do delicates and perform soaking of specials when needed. It has an extra rinse cycle with a chime if preferred. It has held up well and my sisters come and use it occasionally and like it as well.
Sometimes setting the water level seems difficult when I am doing a very small load. Also, when a load is finished washing, I have to wait for the safety latch to release for quite a while after the clothes stop spinning. But, I realize this is a safety feature for children.
I had a minor repair that was very inexpensive and I was relieved. It was a minor part replacement after I had owned it for 3 years. The repair did not take long and I have had no trouble since.
I like my Frigidaire washing machine and it serves well for comfort and convenience. I would buy it again and recommend it to a friend.

"An amazing washing machine..."
I have owned my Fridgidaire 9 cycle washing machine for 3 years and I really do like it. I like that it is a large capacity machine and can wash small, medium or large size loads. I don't like that dirt gets in the rim and the washing powder stays on the rim as well. But overall I really like it. I have not had to repair or replace it as of yet. The drum on the inside is very level which I can say is very important to me since I once owned a Whirlpool that didn't. I think the improvements to washing machine has made them more sturdy. I would buy this brand again and would recommend it to all my friends and family.

"A great Front Loading Washer"
I have had this washer for about six years. I bought it with a matching dryer from a local big box store. I like the fact that it uses enough water to wash the clothes. It uses high efficiency detergent, which can be a bit pricey, but I use about half of the recommended amount of detergent and I still get great results. The washer comes with a high speed final spin setting which really helps get extra moisture out of the clothes for a faster drying time. It also has a hand washable setting that gently agitates the clothes. The washing drum is large; I can fit a queen size comforter inside and get it washed thoroughly. I can also do fairly large loads of towels and other clothing. One of my dislikes is that I cannot add clothes to the machine after the washer has started since the machine locks the door while it is running. The forgotten clothing item has to wait until the next load. I also cannot soak clothes in the washer as I would in a top loader. After washing clothes, the door needs to be left slightly open, or it will develop a mildew smell. In the six years that I have had this washer, I have never had to call for a repair. If I was going to replace my washer, I would definitely get the same Frigidaire washer as it has been wonderful and it is less expensive that other brands of the same style washer.

"Front Load Washer at Top Load Price"
I've had my Frigidaire FTF2140 front load washer for four years now, and it's still going strong! No repairs have yet to be done and it seems to be working just as well now as when I first bought it. It can get noisy during the final spin - like most front load washers, but it's bearable, and not to mention I have it on the second floor which does make it noisier. It does a great job of cleaning my clothes and bedding - especially the bedding. We have dogs and it seems to take care of all that hair just fine! Capacity is a little smaller compare to most front loads, but I can fit my queen-sized comforter. Frigidaire is one of the longest running manufacturers of front-load washers, and I can see why. Oh and the price. I bought it at ApplianceSmart and I got it on sale so it was actually cheaper than buying a top load washer at Sears! Highly recommend it to my friends and family - actually got my brother in law to buy the same model and it sounds like he has been very happy with his too. So overall, it's not the biggest or the quietest front-load washer on the market, but if you were budgeting yourself for a top-load, do yourself a favor and get this instead.

"Frigidaire makes a great washing machine"
I have owned my Frigidaire washing machine for the past 12 years. I love it. I never have to rewash a load even though we have three children in the house and they all like to play out doors. It has never broken down on me or cost me anything in repairs which is incredible considering the amount of use it gets. I would guess that we do about five to six loads a week and it just keeps on going. The only thing bad about it that I have noticed is if too many jeans or towels get stuck on one side it can become unbalanced and shake the house but I guess that is probably true on any washing machine. I would most definitely recommend this brand to anyone that I know. In fact if it ever goes out which I am sure it will do sometime in the future I will definitely buy the same brand again.

"Old Reliable Still Frustrates Me"
I've owned this washer since I bought the house about ten years ago and it was about ten years old then. I like that it's relatively quiet and keeps getting the clothes clean. With four of us in the house, it does a lot of laundry and just keeps going and going and going. What I don't like is how much it costs to run it. I see these new energy efficient machines and I know they use less energy and water and would save me a bundle but I hate to give up on a machine that just wants to work so well. I've had no repair issues on it and aside from cleaning on occasion, it works great. I would certainly buy Frigidaire again. They're now owned by Electrolux, a company known for vacuums but now making high end appliances for the US., and have some of the most energy efficient washers available. The model I have is not available anymore, but the new front loaders are. They have one model that only uses, on average, 96 KW a year. I haven't seen any that are more energy efficient.
