front and top loading washing machines for distribution in Europe. Hoover washing machines are available as
either built-in or freestanding units. Their load capacities range between 6 and 9 kilograms.
Hoover's History
The original Hoover company was founded in 1908 in Ohio and produced a number of floor care products. In 1919,
Hoover Limited registered in the United Kingdom and later became a major manufacturer of electric vacuum
cleaners. In 1993, the US and UK divisions of the company split. The European company now belongs to Candy S.p.A,
an Italian-based company.
Hoover Washing Machine Features
Some Hoover models include a fourteen-minute wash cycle, a twenty-three hour delay mechanism, a cycle for
diminishing stains, and a cycle that reduces creases. Another unique feature is the "Sensitive Care" cycle for
delicate fabrics and people with sensitive skin.
Energy Efficiency
Most of Hoover's washing machines have an energy efficiency rating of A+AA, which exceeds the high "A+" efficiency
rating. Most of their models are front-loading which utilize less water than top-loading machines.
Warranty
Hoover warrants their products for one year after purchase. To receive service for a product under warranty,
however, Hoover requires customers to register their purchases.
