"Worth the Wait"
Worth the Wait
I purchased this Kenmore washing machine during the Black Friday sales at a local Sears this past year. The main reason I bought it originally was the price. I bought it for $500 and some change for both the washer and dryer. I soon realized, however, that it was well worth the price and was worth more than that.
A great feature of this washer is its capacity. We moved from having a stackable apartment-style washer that could barely hold a "normal load" of clothes. When we put in that same "normal load" in this, it seems like I've barely taken up half the space. Another great feature of this washer is the small amount of detergent. I'm not sure why it only needs that small of an amount, but it sure saves on having to buy a large quantity (uses the smallest amount available on the measuring cap).
The reason I said this is worth the wait is because a "normal" load of clothes takes over an hour. To me this seemed ridiculous at first, until I began to see the fact that it uses less energy, less water, and less detergent. All three of those are completed by a more thorough wash cycle and lots of tumbling while washing.
This is the first front-load washer that I have used and I don't think I'd ever go back. Despite the long cycle, this washer provides a great, efficient cleaning of clothes.

"Happiness is my Kenmore Elite washer !"
We bought our heavy duty king size capacity Kenmore Elite washer almost 9 years ago in June of 2002. It has never given us any problems and never needed a repair other than to replace a washer in one of the hoses a year ago. Our model us the Quiet Pak II feature and it really is quiet. I love the fact that it has 5 water levels so I can do any size load and the options for pre-wash, soak and the choice of 1 or 2 rinses. But the fact I love best about it is that with 7 temperature settings and 6 speed options I haven't had to hand wash my delicate items since I bought it! Yet on the heavy duty setting it gets our queen size blankets and a large load of my son's heavy jeans just as clean. There really isn't anything I don't like about my Kenmore Elite and have recommended both to friends and family. When this one finally bites the dust I will be replacing it with another Kenmore Elite, but the way it is running right now that appears to be a long time in the future.

"Why I Like My Washing Machine"
I really like my Kenmore washing machine. It is the Elite model and is dubbed King Size, Heavy Duty, and it has a 3-speed motor with 6 speed combinations. I have owned this washing machine for over eight years and I still enjoy using it. There is not much I don't like about this washing machine except that it is an older model. However, it does a great job on my laundry. I have had only one mechanical breakdown on the washer and that was about six months ago. I always take out the Maintenance Agreements whenever I purchase Kenmore appliances or any other applicance I purchase at Sears! Why - because with the Maintenance Agreement, a repair person comes to my house and takes care of any appliance problems and I don't have to take the product in for repair. I have my washer serviced one time a year for preventative maintenance and this usually prevents any unforeseen problems. In general, I prefer Kenmore appliances and I thoroughly enjoy my Kenmore washer. It has held up great during the eight years I have used it. When it is time to finally replace this washer, I will again, purchase a Kenmore washer. I recommend Kenmore washers to everyone as they are a good value and last very well.

"Kenmore Washer Gets the Job Done."
I have owned the Kenmore front loading tumble action washer for 10 years. It has several great qualities. First, it is unbelievably water efficient. When I first started using it, I thought there was no way my clothes could be cleaned because of how little water was filled into the bin. Fortunately, my clothes came out unexpectedly clean. Second, it does a really good job of removing the water after the cleaning cycle. Some clothes would come out of it so dry that I would not have guessed that it was actually washed. This is great as it makes drying faster, with less energy consumed. Third, it requires very little maintenance. I just have to periodically clean the dispenser drawer area with a toothbrush. Finally, it has worked from day one without any repairs. There are only a couple of minor complaints I have with this model. The completion signal is too loud, and the door opening is a little too small. But these are small issues.

"Laundry Made Easy!"
I have had this washing machine for the past year and it has been wonderful. My past washing machine was a top loader and had multiple problems. I love how well it works- it is great at getting stains out and keeping my clothes shapely. It also has many settings which is great to customize depending on what clothing I am washing. It also is rather quick, which is nice when I want my laundry done now! It holds a lot of clothing, or even multiple towels. I like doing the least amount of loads of laundry as possible, and this washing machine makes that easy! I've never had any problems with it, and even if I did I have a 4 year sears warranty on it. I would definitely buy it again and would recommend it to anyone looking for a reliable washer.

"You Get What You Pay For"
I've owned my Kenmore washing machine for at least 5 years, and isn't the greatest. It's a washing machine that proves the point you get what you pay for. The best thing I can say about it is "it gets the job done", but not always all that well. The washing machine is extremely noisy. I keep mine in my basement and if I throw a load in before I go lay down in my bed, all I hear is the loud banging of the washing machine. I use powdered detergent and a lot of the time after I do a load of laundry I end up with the detergent caked all over my clothes, and need to repeat the wash cycle another time or two, which gets pretty annoying. If it weren't for loud noise it produces when running, it would be a pretty decent washing machine. A friend of mine has the same machine and has the same noise problem. I would recommend this machine to someone who's looking for a cheaper washing machine and will be able to put it somewhere where they wont have to hear it. I haven't had it looked at in all the time I have had it and its still kicking. I personally wouldn't buy this washing machine ever again.

"My honest review of my home washing machine"
We purchased the Kenmore 800 about 2 years ago to replace a much smaller machine. This model happens to be the largest top loading washer available which means that it is much less expensive than the front loading versions with similar capacity. We absolutely love this machine because of all the features that it offers. Its a water saver unit so you dont have to set the water level manually, the machine senses the size of the load and automatically adjusts the water level for you. I guess the only drawback of this washer is that its not a front loader but the difference in price makes up for any of the convenience of that kind of machine. Since we have owned this unit we have experienced no problems at all. We use our machine daily and the size of the wash loads can be quite large. I can safely say that the Kenmore 800 is by far the best washing machine that iI have ever owned. I would recommend this washer to anyone and feel that it sells itself.

"Proper Washing Machines"
I have owned my washing machine for over 4 years now and I haven't had any issues with it in the lease. Our old washing machine was horrible and wouldn't drain properly. This cost us a fortune to fix. I very much appreciate how the Kenmore Elite locks its self right when the start button is pressed. I also appreciate how it has many different multiple options for washing such as heavy duty for bedding or bulky materials.
I'm however not a fan of the high pitched beep it make. My dogs are very sensitive to high sounds and they always lose control when my laundry is finished and beeping from upstairs. Our machine has served us very well because even in 4 years, we don't need any sort of replacement on it or fixes because of its high quality parts that put it together. I would definitely by the same brand or recommend this machine to a friend hand down because of the least amount of worries on cost and 4 years of running efficiently.

"My Kenmore has been a good buy!"
I have owed my Kenmore washer for over 5 years. I have been very satisfied with it. Prior to owing this, I had to go to a laundry mat to clean my clothes; so, once I bought mine, I couldn't wait to use it. I got it on sale the weekend of July 4th, so the price was very reasonable. I clean about 4 loads per week, as there are only 2 of us in the home. Although the basin/drum of the machine isn't the biggest on the market, it has worked well for my needs. I have even washed a King-size comforter in it multiple times without issue. What I like the most about the machine is its speed. A large load of clothes takes about 30 max to complete, which is much faster than other washers that I have used. It's relatively quiet.
My only issue is that the fabric softener dispenser located in the agitator clogs up. I don't use it often because of this. After about 5 loads, I have to take the agitator apart to clean it, which can get messy. The fabric softener hardens, making it difficult to get all of the material out. Without this problem, the washer would be perfect. Overall, I would recommend the washer to others who have similar needs to mine. Additionally, given my current experience it is highly likely that my next washer will be a Kenmore as well.

"The washing machine that makes a lot of sense out of washing."
I just bought a new washing machine three months ago. It is a Kenmore Top-Loading High efficiency Low- Water Washer. I am very happy with it. The best thing about it is its ability to sense the water level needed to wash the amount of clothes that was put into it. It is called "automatic load size sensing". There is no level selector to press. It is very easy to use and I love the way it looks. The cycle status lights keep you informed on what stage the washer was is on. It has great options like the stain boost option. This selection provides enhanced cleaning action for tough stains. I also like that it is very quiet. I do not dislike anything about it. I would definitely recommend. I do not plan to buy a new one for a very long time. This washer should last me the rest of my life.
