company began producing a large number of consumer electronics such as televisions, refrigerators, washing
machines, and microwave ovens. During the eighties, the company began exporting many of their products and
continued to expand their line of electronics. The company now manufactures a large array of electronic products,
and in 2008, took the lead in the U.S. mobile phone market.
Special Features of Samsung Washing Machines
Samsung washers have a number of high-tech features. Some have a steam washing option that uses steam to remove
stains from clothing. Others have a SilverCare™ option which uses silver ions to sanitize and clean
clothing in place of bleach, a process which Samsung believes is especially good for delicate and colored
clothing. Another feature of Samsung washers is VRT™ (Vibration Reduction Technology), which reduces
vibration and noise in their machines.
