"A Serious Washing Machine"
I've owned this washing machine about 3 months. My old machine died and this one was selected based on two criteria: it had to fit in the old machine's spot, and it had to look rugged.
I like how older machines were built with an exceptional durability. Older washing machines can last decades, while newer machines start developing problems much sooner. This is because of all the fancy electronics and cheaper mechanical components used in modern machines. The Speedqueen brand follows the old style of washing machine design, and as such is simple, highly durable, and exceptional in performance. The machine is quiet and clothes come out nearly dry after the spin cycle. The interface doesn't have any fancy electronics like displays and fancy tones, which is great because these are the first things to go.
I really have no dislikes about this machine.
Since it is so new and rugged, I won't be replacing it for many, many years.
I would definitely recommend this brand to a friend, and buy it again.
